Sometimes you need to "close the door." Set the alert option for when your status is Do Not Disturb Under General alerts, clear the Tell me when someone adds me to his or her contact list check box. And anyone who adds you to their list is automatically added to your contacts list and is assigned the privacy relationship of colleague. If you choose this setting, you will never see contacts on the New list. If you prefer, you can choose to automatically add to your contacts list anyone who has added you to their contacts list. Don't want an alert when someone adds you as a contact? Want to automatically add people to your contact list if they've added you to theirs? Look at the list of potential contacts, decide who to add to your own contacts list, and if you want, assign privacy relationships to those new contacts. At your convenience, you can review this list by clicking the New tab on the contacts view of the Skype for Business main window. When you select this setting, and someone adds you as a contact to their contacts list, in addition to an alert, Skype for Business will add that person to a running list of people you might consider adding to your own contacts list. Then, from the Display and Position fields, specify on which monitor and where you want this alerts to appear. Under General alerts, select the Tell me when someone adds me to his or her contact list check box. Want to be alerted when someone adds you to their contact list? The Skype for Business Options > Alerts page lets you decide when, where, and from whom you will see these alerts. Skype for Business shows alerts in several situations-like when someone adds you to their contacts list, or when someone initiates a conversation.
